Meet the Hunter Podiatry Team

Luke Grainger

Senior Podiatrist / Managing Director

Luke moved to the Newcastle region in 2003 taking a position at Hunter Podiatry services as a young podiatrist wanting to empower and improve the people of his community. 17 years on Luke is just as passionate about providing an optimal quality of life to patients of all walks of life.

With over 20 years clinical experience Luke has postgraduate training in running analysis and technique analysis, dry needling, shockwave therapy, tendon pathology and paediatric development and has had practical and theoretical training in the surgical correction of range of foot and ankle pathologies.

Luke can be found at the Maitland clinic and splits his time between consulting patients and managing the operations of the 4 centres.

Luke is a father to 3 young girls and partner to Jessica. Luke enjoys spending his weekends exploring the local area in his 4×4 with the family, taking the girls to parkrun and nippers and participating locally in a range of running, cycling and triathlon events.

Luke is passionate about bringing an unrivalled patient experience and level of podiatric care to the people of Newcastle and the Hunter and has grown and developed the Hunter Podiatry centres and brand to reflect this commitment over the past 10 years.

Amy Goodwin

Administration

Amy is our Greenhills practice manager and enjoys staying active with her family on the weekends. She is a regular at Maitland Park run and is always hunting a PB.

Sonia Hudson

Administration

Sonia comes from a long history of customer service- working nearly 20 years for a bank. Her professionalism and work ethic are second to none.

Catherine Smith

Administration

Cath works between our Green Hills and Rutherford clinics. Being a local herself, she knows just about everyone! All of our patients appreciate her lovely nature and quick wit.

Leanne Bapphakham

Administration

Leanne joins us up at Salamander Bay after moving back from Thailand, where she worked in some amazing day spas. Her experience is evident in her calm, warm demeanour and deep understanding of customer experience

Tilly Rayment

Administration

Tilly studies social work so she is incredibly empathetic and a great communicator.
