Meet Carmel Sloane
As a kid, a trip to the podiatrist for painful ingrown nails introduced Carmel to podiatry. After that first podiatrist visit, pain free and with a new lease on life Carmel’s goal was to help others this way someday.
Carmel has joined the Hunter Podiatry services after getting to know the team and participating in our Podiatry student mentorship program during her final year of studies.
Carmel enjoys working with the elderly members of our community and has worked in Aged Care in Cessnock prior to completing her Bachelor of Podiatry degree at the University of Newcastle. Carmel understands the importance foot health plays in mobility and quality of life. Carmel has a passion for assisting patients with general foot and nail care.
Outside of work Carmel loves to spend time with family and friends and explore local walking tracks with her dog, Finley.
