Emily graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Podiatry in 2020. Whilst completing her degree, Emily worked in bars and pubs in Newcastle. When she graduated, she opened up a new clinic and hustled there for 6 months before joining Hunter Podiatry Services in May 2022.

Emily’s interest in podiatry began when her mum developed a foot injury and wanted some help applying sports tape. From there her interest continued to grow as she learnt that a podiatrist could also help manage the plantar warts that she had on her foot.

Emily enjoys assisting patients who can no longer look after their own feet and toenails. She also believes in giving her patients thorough education regarding diabetic footcare, rehabilitation strategies and management of chronic foot and ankle pain.

Outside of work, Emily likes circuit training in an altitude-based environment. She has been lucky enough to travel to 20+ countries so next time visit ask her about her up-coming travel plans.
