Jessica graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2016 and has spent the last few years working in a Newcastle based clinic, before joining the Hunter Podiatry Services team in September 2019. Prior to completing her degree Jessica worked for a local sporting goods retailer and has extensive knowledge in performance footwear.
Jessica’s interest in podiatry comes from years of helping people achieve their sporting and fitness goals with the right footwear. Knowing the difference the right pair of shoes can make to performance and mobility, whether for an elite athlete or the average person wanting to become more active.
Jessica enjoys helping people maintain their foot function by assisting people to understand the important role our feet play not only for our physical but also mental wellbeing. By helping to education people about the simple things that can be done in the clinic and at home to help maintain optimum foot health and as a result helping improve mental health and wellbeing.
Jessica was born and raised in Newcastle, moving to the Maitland area in 2016 and she is keen to help her local community. Outside the clinic she enjoys spending time with family, holidaying in Forster and stand-up paddle boarding with her dog Kenzie.
