Leighanna Cohen

Leighanna was originally from Broome in Western Australia and moved to the east coast during year 11 of high school. She always had a passion for helping people and that led her to spend ten years working in Hunter/Lake Mac Emergency departments. Those years taught Leighanna the value of taking time with people, building real relationships and supporting them through pain, illness, and uncertainty.

Leighanna chose to study Podiatry because of a desire to help people maintain their mobility and live comfortably without pain holding them back. She graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2025 and has a passion for all aspects of podiatry. Her goal is to help people move well and leave feeling better than when they arrived.

Leighanna enjoys getting to know people and understanding what matters to them. Helping someone feel better physically or emotionally is something she genuinely cares about.

Outside of work, Leighanna loves finding quiet, remote places, especially near the ocean and spend as much time as she can travelling and having adventures with her three kids.
