Dru has recently begun consulting at the practice and really enjoying working in The Hunter Valley. While Dru spent most of his years growing up in Newcastle, he also spent 5 of his younger years in Tauranga (Bay of Plenty, New Zealand). It was here he developed a passion for Rugby Union and other sports. He played all the way up through the junior ranks and eventually had to give it away due to repetitive injuries. He decided to start refereeing at this stage and progress through the ranks, with one of many highlights being involved with the recent Commonwealth Games.
Dru has previously worked in private practice as well as a lower limb specific rehabilitation role in aged care. He enjoys all aspects of Podiatry, having a keen interest in sports related injuries, rehabilitation and biomechanics. He enjoys helping others achieve their goals. Whether that is on or off the ground.
