
Luke Grainger
Luke has been with Hunter Podiatry Services since 2003.
He studied at the Queensland University of Technology and has worked as a Podiatrist in Victoria and New South Wales. He worked along-side a foot and ankle surgeon for two years whilst in Victoria, developing a passion and understanding for the surgical correction and clinical diagnosis of foot and ankle deformities.
In 2003 Luke undertook post graduate studies enrolling in a Masters of Podiatry at Curtin University. His post graduate studies have furthered his understanding and skills in diagnosing and managing complex conditions and disease process’ affecting the lower limbs and feet. His final research proposal aims to assess the correlation between radiographic measurements of the foot and the development of osteoarthritis of the first toe joint.
Luke is an accredited member of the Australian Podiatry Association and actively participates in continuing education and furthering his podiatric knowledge.
Luke’s clinical interests include Paediatric podiatry (the diagnosis and management of children’s foot conditions) biomechanical analysis (the in depth assessment of basic human movement in determining causes of lower limb pathology) and cycling influenced lower limb pathology.
Luke is a member of both the Australasian Acadamy of Podiatric Sports Medicine and Sports Medicine Australia.
